Terry Sampson songs have been covered by highly acclaimed artists like Al Jarreau, Vanessa Williams, Kenny Rogers, Phil Perry, CeCe Winans, Carl Anderson, Nicolette Larson, and Kelly Price to name several. He is a former Warner Brothers staff songwriter, landing his first publishing contract at age 20, while attending college in Michigan. Along the way he has written for several TV shows including "Family Ties" and ABC's "Land Of The Lost" for which he sang the theme. His First CD E, Just E enjoyed frequent used on the CBS daytime drama "The Young And The Restless." Soon after relocating to Los Angeles in the early 80's, he landed a song on the successful Warner Brother's Film "National Lampoon's Vacation." He received a gold record for the Disney Children's release "Winnie The Pooh Sing-a-long." In June 2007, he received an ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Award for his song "God's Gift" which was on the Gospel chart for a year. Currently, he is writing songs for Television and film projects.
